Applications & Material Compatibility

Rivolta F.L. PG 250 was specifically designed for the lubrication of heavily loaded gearboxes, such as worm gearboxes. Its very high viscosity index ensures reliable performance at both low and high operating temperatures. A very low coefficient of friction improves efficiency and minimizes wear on both the gearbox and the oil. Long oil change intervals and low wear result in high cost-effectiveness. F.L. PG 250 delivers a performance range that significantly exceeds the requirements for gear oils specified in DIN 51517-3, CLP specification. High efficiency in worm gearboxes.

Applications

  • Gearboxes: Rolling-element gearboxes (spur, bevel), screw-type gear drives (screw, worm, or offset bevel gear drives, etc.) in, for example, meat, fish, and dairy processing machinery, dough extruders, conveyor systems, packaging machines, and labeling machines

Not miscible with mineral oils or ester oils. Miscible with polyalkylene glycol.

Preparation of the Lubrication Point

Before refilling with Rivolta F.L. PG gear oils, the following steps must be taken:

  • Drain the old product. If the system was filled with a miscible product, no special flushing procedure is required before refilling with F.L. PG 250.
  • If the system was filled with a non-miscible oil, a flushing procedure using F.L. PG 250 must be performed before refilling.

By train
Bremer & Leguil is a 10-minute walk from the train station. From the main exit, cross the station forecourt and turn right onto Mercatorstraße. Then turn left onto Königsstraße (pedestrian zone). At the “Lifesaver” fountain, turn right onto Am Burgacker. After crossing at the traffic lights, Bremer & Leguil is 50 meters further on the right-hand side.

By car
From Düsseldorf:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Landfermannstraße. Follow the road and, after the third traffic light, turn right onto “Am Burgacker.”
From Dinslaken:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the third street on the left. Turn onto Moselstraße there. At the next intersection, turn right onto Fuldastraße. After about 100 meters, turn left onto “Am Burgacker.”
