Where can I find safety data sheets for B&L products?
All product documentation is easily accessible on our website. Safety data sheets can be found directly on the relevant product detail pages.
How should B&L products be stored?
When storing our products, please ensure that the containers remain in their original sealed condition. The optimum storage temperature is between +10 and +20°C. Significant temperature fluctuations should be avoided. The air in the storage area should be kept as dry and dust-free as possible. Containers must not be stored outdoors, as moisture can be drawn into them through the so-called breathing effect. The containers must also be protected from frost.
Do B&L products have a best-before date or expiration date?
In general, Rivolta® products do not have a best-before date like food products. Please use the following storage periods as a guideline:

• Pastes………………………………………………………….3 years
• Sprays (aerosol cans)……………………………………3 years
• Water-based cleaners…………………………………..3 years
• Hydrocarbon-based cleaners………………………..5 years
• Corrosion protection oils……………………………….5 years
• Corrosion protection waxes……………………………2 years (stir before use if necessary)
• Thixotropic corrosion protection products…………1 year (stir thoroughly before use)
What should be considered when disposing of B&L products?
Metal packaging made of tinplate and blackplate is disposed of by KBS-Kreislaufsystem Blechverpackungen Stahl GmbH. Plastic packaging is disposed of through RIGK-Gesellschaft zur Rückführung industrieller und gewerblicher Kunststoffverpackungen mbH. All fully emptied Rivolta® aerosol cans can be disposed of via the RESPRAY take-back system operated by REMONDIS Industrie Service.
