Applications & Material Compatibility

Grease gun with Powerswitch system. This feature allows you to switch from high-volume grease delivery to high pressure at any time using the handle, thereby achieving optimal results.

Operation

  • Allow the grease that escapes during venting to drip into the high-pressure cylinder. This prepares the check valve for operation.
  • With the grease gun open, carefully screw it into the gun head until it is hand-tight. Attach the heavy-duty hose to the gun head. Then operate the grease gun until grease emerges from the nozzle. The grease gun is now ready for use.
  • The grease gun’s piston chamber is filled by the vacuum created by the piston, not by spring pressure as in conventional models. Therefore, the hand lever must not be opened abruptly. The lever must be opened evenly, quickly, and, if possible, fully with each stroke.
  • Note on the vacuum principle: To fill the piston chamber sufficiently with grease, a dwell time must be observed after actuation. This time varies and depends on the consistency/flowability (NLGI class) and the temperature of the grease. Depending on the fill volume, resistance will be felt sooner or later when compressing the hand lever.

The grease gun is designed in accordance with DIN 1283 for an operating pressure of 400 bar and is calculated with a substantial safety margin. Due to its design, it requires less force than conventional grease guns.

By train
Bremer & Leguil is a 10-minute walk from the train station. From the main exit, cross the station forecourt and turn right onto Mercatorstraße. Then turn left onto Königsstraße (pedestrian zone). At the “Lifesaver” fountain, turn right onto Am Burgacker. After crossing at the traffic lights, Bremer & Leguil is 50 meters further on the right-hand side.

By car
From Düsseldorf:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Landfermannstraße. Follow the road and, after the third traffic light, turn right onto “Am Burgacker.”
From Dinslaken:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the third street on the left. Turn onto Moselstraße there. At the next intersection, turn right onto Fuldastraße. After about 100 meters, turn left onto “Am Burgacker.”
