The Rivolta P.H.C. photovoltaic cleaner is based on a combination of special active ingredients, each of which gently removes various residues and contaminants – such as dust, pollen, soot, bird droppings, green deposits, road grime and other environmental deposits – from PV modules. Rivolta P.H.C. is supplied exclusively as a concentrate and must be diluted with water before use. The concentration used depends on the cleaning method and the degree of soiling on the modules to be cleaned.
Areas of application
Rivolta P.H.C. is equally suitable for use in solar parks, across industry as a whole, in agriculture, etc., for the gentle and efficient cleaning of photovoltaic systems.
Material compatibility
Extensive material compatibility tests were carried out on Rivolta P.H.C. by the Fraunhofer CSP Institute to analyse potential risks to PV modules when exposed to the cleaning agent. The following components of standard PV modules were tested:
Result:
The typical service life of photovoltaic systems is around 25 years. Based on the results of the study, it can therefore be concluded that, over the entire service life – assuming an annual cleaning cycle, a maximum wetting time of one hour per cleaning operation, and use of the cleaner at its maximum application concentration (1:4) – no impairment of the tested functionalities of the photovoltaic modules is to be expected as a result of chemical interactions caused by contact with Rivolta P.H.C.
Application instructions
Rivolta P.H.C. is suitable for large-area cleaning using brushes / abseil brushes, cleaning robots and all standard roller brush systems. For small PV modules, it can also be applied manually using a spray-and-rinse method with a pressure pump sprayer fitted with a foam nozzle. Rinse with clean water if necessary.
