Rivolta S.K.D. 240 contains additives that protect against wear, aging, and corrosion. Consumption is low due to minimized evaporation loss. S.K.D. 240 leaves only minimal residues under high-temperature conditions. These soft residues can be removed by re-lubricating with S.K.D. 240. It reduces energy consumption and extends the service life of chains.
Applications
Lubrication of drive and conveyor chains. Particularly in high-temperature environments, such as paint dryers in the automotive industry, soldering systems, shrink tunnels in the packaging and food industries, tension frames, drying and setting systems in the textile industry, and conveyor chains in circular conveyor systems, as well as furnaces and drying systems in the wood, paper, and construction industries.
Rivolta S.K.D. 240 does not attack common metals, paints, or mineral oil-resistant sealing materials. This high-temperature chain oil is miscible with and compatible with mineral oil. To prepare the lubrication point, remove as much dirt and old residue as possible. Then lubricate with Rivolta S.K.D. 240. The friction points
should be as dry as possible to achieve the chain oil’s full adhesive strength.
