Applications & Material Compatibility

Rivolta S.K.D. 16 N is formulated with fully synthetic, biodegradable base oils and contains additives that protect against wear, aging, and corrosion. The lubricant reduces energy consumption, increases operational reliability, and extends the service life of machinery and equipment.

Applications

  • General: a universally applicable high-performance lubricant for removing dirt, deposits, and displacing moisture at all friction points
  • Chain Lubrication: for internal bearing lubrication of all heavily loaded chains; for full lubrication of chains in very dusty environments or at very low ambient temperatures
  • Cable Lubrication: as a lubricant for internal cable bearings; removes rust and dirt; reduces wear
  • Levers, joints, bolts: for internal lubrication in applications with tight tolerances; for full lubrication of small components

Rivolta S.K.D. 16 N does not attack common metals, solvent-resistant paints, or sealing materials. The product is miscible with and compatible with mineral oil.

Preparation of the lubrication point

  • Remove dirt and old residues as thoroughly as possible; if necessary, pre-treat the area several times at short intervals with Rivolta S.K.D. 16 N to dissolve residues
  • S.K.D. 16 N displaces moisture

Application Instructions

  • Aerosol cans: Aim the aerosol can or hand sprayer at the friction point so that the lubricant can penetrate well between the friction surfaces
  • Brushing: Apply an even, thin coat with a clean brush, taking care not to introduce any dirt
  • Dipping: Soak components in an oil bath and allow them to drain
  • Centralized lubrication: Drip lubricators, oil spray, or oil mist systems
  • Lubricant dispenser (available in 125-ml Simalube)

Bremer & Leguil is a 10-minute walk from the train station. From the main exit, cross the station forecourt and turn right onto Mercatorstraße. Then turn left onto Königsstraße (pedestrian zone). At the “Lifesaver” fountain, turn right onto Am Burgacker. After crossing at the traffic lights, Bremer & Leguil is 50 meters further on the right-hand side.

By car
From Düsseldorf:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Landfermannstraße. Follow the road and, after the third traffic light, turn right onto “Am Burgacker.”
From Dinslaken:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the third street on the left. Turn onto Moselstraße there. At the next intersection, turn right onto Fuldastraße. After about 100 meters, turn left onto “Am Burgacker.”
